searching the jobs market.
A little known fact is that the vast majority of
vacancies for solicitors are not advertised. The cost of advertising
is prohibitive and it is often cheaper for firms to use the services
of recruitment consultants. We assist firms by introducing good quality
candidates to them and charging lower fees by operating almost exclusively
online.
We offer the service in complete confidence, with
your anonymity assured until you attend for the interview stage if
required.
You can receive full information about firms’
vacancies, consider all aspects of the opportunity, and if you decide
to go ahead do so in anonymity, so even if you are not successful
no-one in the firm will know who you are.
We have been operating this service as part of Ten-Percent
Legal Recruitment for over 3 years, and both firms and candidates

Jonathan Fagan gives you the chance to receive personal
attention in your search, and to ensure that any approach is tailored
to your specific strengths and attributes. A common complaint from
firms is that a CV does not contain sufficient information for them
to make an informed decision as to whether a vacancy is suitable for
the candidate being presented to them, and we avoid this by preparing
specific information on candidates outlining all factors prior to
interview.
We make one important pledge to all candidates. This
service will not waste your time. We will always ensure that you have
all the facts to hand for a specific vacancy and firm. We do not believe
that there is any benefit in offering you an interview with a firm
if the vacancy is clearly unsuitable. You will not recommend us to
others, the firm will not use us again, and nobody gains.
In fact, if we had one motto for the service, it
would be “recruitment – warts and all"!
We rarely advertise in the Law Society Gazette –
we source approaches from solicitors through personal recommendations
and online searches.
